The SIP Lab is housed within the Psychology Department at McGill University. We examine the causes and consequences of accurate social perception and expression. For example, what factors enable you to understand someone’s personality? And do accurate perceptions in turn impact well-being, social relationships, and physical health?

To learn about who we are, visit our Lab Members page. To learn more about our research, please visit the Research and Publications pages and feel free to contact us with any questions.

If you are interesting in applying to the lab as a research assistant, please email our lab coordinator to find out about current availabilities at human-lab@mcgill.ca

We are currently accepting applications for honours students for the upcoming academic year (2019-2020). If you are interested in applying, please e-mail human-lab@mcgill.ca with your CV and unofficial transcript.
