The SIP Lab is currently housed at the University of British Columbia at the Okanagan campus in Kelowna. We are in the process of relocating from McGill University, where some of our lab members and research activities continue.
We examine the causes and consequences of accurate social perception and expression. For example, what factors enable you to understand someone’s personality? And do accurate perceptions in turn impact well-being, social relationships, and physical health?
To learn about who we are, visit our Lab Members page. To learn more about our research, please visit the Research and Publications pages and feel free to contact us with any questions or to get involved.
Interested in getting involved in the lab? Dr. Human will be considering graduate student applications at UBCO for fall 2023. Please visit the UBCO Psychology Department website for details on how to apply.
For undergraduate students at UBCO, please contact our lab coordinator for current opportunities: human.lab@ubc.ca
Unfortunately, we are no longer supervising undergraduate students at McGill.
Interested in participating in one of our studies? Please check back soon – new studies will be posted shortly!
